Holiday Season.

One of the main things i look forward to throughout the year is my holiday!
No matter what, i ALWAYS try and have one booked.
I just love the feeling of having a break away and discovering a new country, culture and a way of life really.

Obviously as a girl, i find that the best thing about having a holiday booked, is of course the shopping!
I'll spend a good couple of months searching for dresses, sandals, sunglasses and bikinis!

Last year i went to Jamaica (Ocho Rios) for my holidays.
It was such a good holiday, loads to do and was really hot!

I've got a few pictures to sum my holiday up.

The weather when we got off the plane was horrible, apparantely we went in tropical rainstorm weather, so when we landed it was bouncing it down. It even started thundering which then set all the car alarms off round the resort ha!

This is our hotel that we stayed at called Sunset Jamaica Grande :)

We went out into the sea on some pedalos, and took this picture, was so fun!

This is the waterfall that me and my sister climbed calls Dunns River Falls. It was so fun, took about an hour though. There's slides on the way too, which have been made by parting rocks and water! We had a guide to help us up, which to be honest, he held my hand most of the way up as i was too scared of falling ha!

Everytime i look at this picture it makes me laugh, we were nearly at the top of the waterfall and my sister got washed under and her bikini top nearly come off (i was almost crying with laughter!)

I cringe everytime i look at this, how burnt and frazzled i am!
I must admit though, it was scorching weather, and as i'm a natural red head, my skin is so fair, so it doesn't take much for me to cook!

I'm off to turkey for 2 weeks in September for my birthday to Gumbet, and i can't wait! It's just me and my mum going for some quality time together as we both work, so never really get to do anything together anymore.
I'm so excited but i think i need to start shopping soon, as i don't have anything - argh! I hate leaving it until the last minute, because then i get stressed out i've left something lol.

Has anyone ever been to Turkey before?
Where are you all going on your holidays this year?

Slimming World.

It's come to that time of year again, where all girls worry about their weight.
I never feel confident when i go out due to my weight, so i never really wear summer clothes or revealing outfits.
That's about to change this year, let me tell you!

I recently joined Slimming World as a LOT of people recommended it!
And i love it already.
The consultant was so lovely, and assured me that whatever weight i wanted to lose, it can be done.
The good thing about Slimming World is that you can eat as much as you want, and not put any weight on, aslong as it's free!

I only started last week and only lost 1lb, but i had a pretty stressful week so didn't really try, but i can already tell it's going to be great.

I plan to lose a couple of stone to feel confident and with their help, i think i can do it in a couple of months :)

Quite a few people on the Slimming World diet, have been talking about a Chicken Recipe, which you cook in Diet Coke?!
It apparently makes the chicken really tender, i can't wait to try!

I'm really excited about this diet, as it's probably the easiest one i've ever done and i can't wait to get into some size 12 jeans!

Which diet do you reccomend?

June Wishlist.

It's come to that time again, where it's nearly payday and i'm completely broke.
Where i spend most of my time window shopping and admiring all the things i just can't afford to buy!

I love looking on the internet for all the newest trends, and seeing what the celebrities are wearing.
When i first started working, i had my whole wage to myself.
But now i'm older, i've got bills board and car insurance to pay - which aint cheap!!
So now i can't really afford to be buying all these nice things :(

But here's a list of all the things i want to buy when i can afford them.

Nike Blazers

I LOVE these trainers, they're so simple but so funky!
I practically live in trainers or pumps as i'm on my feet most of the day, so i always choose comfortable shoes for work.
These would look so trendy with a pair of rolled up jeans like on the picture, or maybe a pretty skater dress.

River Island Air Freshener

I spilt petrol in my car recently, so my car's been smelling a bit strong lately, almost making me light headed haha!
This Air Freshener is so me!
I love leopard print and river island, so this is definitely on my list!
so cute! :)

Barry M Lip Gloss

I saw this lipgloss on ASOS, and i fell in love with colour!
It's so vibrant, eyecatching and girly!
I love wearing gloss as it makes my lips look plumper and fuller.
Barry M is probably my favourite lipgloss as it's longlasting!

River Island Clutch Bag

This bag is from River Island, and as soon as i saw it, i thought i have to have it!
I'm attending a wedding in Newcastle in August and i've got a Black Bandeau dress, so i've got some Nude platforms, so this bag is the only thing missing.
The snakeprint makes it that little bit better too!

River Island Leopard Print Purse

Ok, so as you can tell by this post, River Island is my favourite shop!
But this purse i just amazing, leopard print is just my favourite desing - i love it!
This purse is soo pretty!
Will definitely be treating myself to this! :)

So that's my wishlist finished.
Whats on your wishlist this month?

My Nanna.

I'm really sorry I haven't been in for a while guys, but I've had some really bad news.
My nanna sadly passed away last week, so I've been busy helping my mum and sisters out with a few things.

My nanna was such a loving grandma, she was the grandma who saved all her spare pennies for me when I was little to take me to the amusements in the holidays, and to play on the rides at the seaside.

She was the nanna, who's house was always warm and welcome.
You never felt uncomfortable.

She was the nanna who had every Disney video saved away for me so I could watch them at her house when I was bored.

She was the nanna who doted on her children and grandchildren, and was by their side every step of the way.

It hasn't been long, but I can safely say I miss my nanna already.

Hope you're having fun up there.
Love you x
