Payday Beauty Haul.

So on Friday, i finally got paid after what felt like forever.
I was at the point where i couldn't even buy myself a drink from coop i was that broke, so i'm quite happy now I've got pennies in the bank.

So on my way to work one day, i popped into tesco to have a look for some clothes.
Sadly, there was nothing i liked, so next stop - makeup aisle!

I was literally stood in the aisle for about 20 minutes just looking at all the pretty makeup i could buy, and it was even better that half of it was on offer.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream.
Maybelline used to be one of my favourite foundations, especially the Dream Matte Mousse, so when i saw this newish foundation, i snapped it up.
It also has SPF 30, so don't have to worry about my face burning when my sunshine comes out to play.
Sadly, the "dream" wasn't long lived.
It feels too thick when you put it on your face, so can make you feel quite caked, which makes me feel yukky!
Although once applied, it does give a nice even coverage, but i can safely say, I won't be buying this again.

Collection 2000 Naturally Matt Foundation.
This has got a nice silky feeling to it when applying, so makes your skin look really smooth and flawless.
It's also frangrance free, which i love, because i think most foundations stink.
The only bad thing about this is, i bought the shade "Ivory 1" - and even though this is the lightest one, it's farrrr too dark for my skin, so can only where it when i'm tanned.

Rimmel Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer.
Now as i have the "Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation" I thought it would be rude not to try this, and am i glad i did!
I absolutely love it - without a doubt one of the best concealers i've had.
It gives such a good coverage, that the dark circles under my eyes can no longer be seen,
or the spots around my face (hate being a teenager!)
It just makes me skin feel so much more clearer, so makes me feel better.
Will definitely be buying again. LOVE.

Vivo No Clumps Definition Mascara.
I really don't know what happens to my mascaras, whether the mascara fairy comes into my bedroom through the night and steals them, or my sister's just being annoying and stealing them.
I didn't even have a mascara for work, so thought i'd best buy one and keep this one safe!
This literally does what it say's, every day since i've worn it, there's NEVER been any clumps, so my eyelashes haven't been looking like spiders legs.
The brush has tiny little bristles which spreads the mascara out evenly.
Well done vivo!

Maybelline Face Powder.
Don't you just hate it, when you do all your foundation nice and evenly, but someone can see their reflection in your fore head.
I was fed up of the shiny effect i got, so i thought i'd treat myself to a new powder.
This probably isn't the best one i've ever had, but it works.
It also comes in a cute little compact case aswell, with a sponge and a mirror.
Cute,

Vivo Lipstick.
I got this in the "tangtastic" shade, as i'm always buying red lipsticks, so thought i'd have a change.
I've fallen in love with this colour, haven't stopped wearing it.
The lipstick itself is so creamy and smooth, it's also been hydrating my lips.
It smells gorgeous too.
Bargain at £2!

New Found Confidence.

A few month ago i started Slimming World.
I was sick of being the big girl.
The girl that "let herself go"
The girl that can't pull tight clothes off.

A few years ago, my uncle died.
I didn't know who to turn to;
so i turned to food.
It was my "thing"

It helped me feel better in a time where i felt so low.
Took my minds off things.

Now I've got to come to terms with consequences.

It's awful being a big 19 year old.
I don't like to go out clubbing, as i feel like everyone's watching me.
I don't like clothes shopping, as nothing looks nice.

Then i turned a corner and found slimming world.
It's going to take time.
But i'll get there.

I've already lost a little bit of weight;
which has already made a huge difference.

I can wear dresses to the pub.
I'm also taking myself shopping on Thursday for some new clothes;
as mine are getting a little loose.
YAY!

Don't take things for granted.

Ever feel like you're so hard done by?
That you're so unlucky it can't be real.
Yeah, that's me.

At the moment though, my mum's really poorly.
So everything's being put into perspective.
You realise just how lucky you are, to have what you have.
How much your mum does for you.
How much she means to you.
& How much you rely on her.

It literally feels like my world is crashing down around me.
Like there's no escape, noone to talk to.
But i know my mum will get through it.
She's the strongest person i know.

It's made me realise that the little things don't matter, like the button popping off my favourite shirt.
Scuffing my favourite shoes.
Going over my phone bill.

It's the BIG things that count.

It's true what they say.
It's the hard times that bring your family together.

Girls Night.

Last night my sister Becky came over to see me, my other sister Nicola and my mum.
Now this doesn't really sound like a big deal, but this was probably the first time i've seen her since feb/march, as she's married & lives in Hull with her husband; and my two nieces Sophie and Katie.

Heres a picture of me and Nicola and Becky.
We were on Beckys hen do here, don't always dress like that - i swear!

As i was working, i asked if i could finish early so i could go spend some time with her.
When i got home, all the family was sat in the back garden in the sun with the rose cracked open, so i thought i'd have a few glasses - be rude not to really!

It was no nice to have the family all back together again, as we're going through a really hard time atm.

When it got to tea, being the top chef i am, I made buritos for everyone (my fav!)
Everyone was rolling round after tea we were that full.

It's almost tradition in our house aswell, that when we have a girly night, doritos, salsa, jelly beans, wine, dressing gowns & dvds are a must.
So as the night dawned, we all snuggled on the sofa, watched "identity thief" and nibbled away on our goodies.
Couldn't think of a better way to spend my saturday night to be honest.

Perfume or Body Splash? Perfume, my favourite atm is "Viva La Juicy" by Juicy Couture.

Decorative Dressing Tables.

I seem to have this sort of obsession with interior design and furniture.
I could spend hours just looking through catalogues, and show rooms wishing my bedroom looked like all of them.
I have a ball at Ikea!

When my moved houses, i was excited as this meant that i was going to have a bigger bedroom, as my old bedroom was tiny!
But in this bedroom, i'm actually able to fit a dressing table in which i'm pretty excited about.
It's due to be delivered tomorrow, so i've been busy sorting all my makeup and hair accessories out, ready to put into my new furniture - eeeeeek!
I wish i could re decorate my bedroom every month as i'm always finding new ideas.

It's so easy to make your bedroom pretty.
With a list of things such as:

Candles
Candles are so girly and feminine, and are an easy way to add a classy touch to any bedroom.
They never really get lit, as i get freaked out about fires ha, so they're merely just for decorationg.
I've got some gorgeous tealight candle holders from Argos, which are heart shaped and i LOVE them.

Lamps
My bedroom lights never really on, as it's a bit too bright and hurts my eye, so i'm forever using my lamp.
They add such a relaxing atmosphere to your bedroom.
I love having a bath, then putting my lamp on and reading a good book in bed.

Cushions
I always have loads of pillows & cushions on my bed to make it super comfy.
My beds currently got some gold and cream puffy ones atm, which are sooo soft it's unreal.

Photo Frames
My best friend has a little boy, so i've got loads of pictures of him around my bedroom, as he is the cutest little boy i've ever seen.
They add that personal touch to your bedroom, and make it more homely.

July Wishlist.

Since i've had my car, i haven't really been able to splurge as much as i used to, because let me tell you, it's expensive to run a car!
But this month, is a 5 week month, so that extra weeks wage is all for me, to treat myself, as i've not really bought myself anything for ages.
Here's what i'm on the look out for.

Leopart Print Purse.
If you know me, you'll know i'm OBSESSED with River Island & Leopard print, so as soon as i saw this purse, my heart skipped a beat.
I love the print on it, and how girly it looks.
River Island - £17.

Leopard Print Watch.
This watch is soooooo pretty!
I love how it wraps around your wrist a couple of times, giving it that modern touch to it.
I always need a watch, because my time keeping is shocking lol.
River Island - £25

Tassle Satchel.
I used to treat myself to a new bag every few months, but like i said, i rarely have the money to do this anymore, so i've been keeping my eye on a few bags i like and i've come to the conclusion i need this one.
The black & cream colour scheme keeps it classy and chic at the same time.
I love how it's a satchel aswell, giving it that kind of vintage stye to it.
River Island - £35

Grey Caridgan.
I'm not normally a cardigan person, but for this one i am.
It's soo pretty, i need it.
It'd be practical for nipping out when it's not warm, but not exactly freezing either.
The way it tightens around the wrists makes it even more fashionable and trendy.
River Island - £25

Curve Cut Out Shoulder Dress.
It's my birthday in a few weeks, so i've been trying to find a new dress, but as i'm a plus size, it's been really difficult trying to find a trendy one.. until i found this!
The peach block colours on the side made this really catch my eye.
I'm doing the otley run, for those of you who don't know, it's basically a pub crawl in Headingley in Leeds, and it's meant to be one of the best nights, so i'm rather looking forward to it.
I'm going to team this with some nude heels & a nude clutch bag.
ASOS - £30

Head Rush Shine Spray.
When i used to have Ash Blonde hair, this was my guardian angel, as my hair was always looking dry and rough.
If i added a few sprays of this onto my hair though, it'd look so healthy and shiny, it was like a different head of hair.
I also love the "Bed Head" packaging, as it's always so vibrant and trendy.
Asos - £14.25

iPad Case.
I love all things Ted Baker.
I find the PVC effect and the bow so girly, i need to have everything lol.
I've got the makeup bag, the tote bag, and a little makeup bag for my hand bag, so i thought it's only right i get this little beauty aswell to protect my iPad.
Asos - £39

So there you have it bloggers, what's on your wishlist this month?

Where have i been?

I'm really sorry i haven't posted in a while, but i've had a LOT going on at home.
So i've been trying to crack on with things the best way i can.

Aswell as work, dieting, and seeing friends, i've also been planning my holiday for next year, as i'm going travelling to Thailand for a few weeks, eeek!
I'm soooo excited.
My mum asked me if there was one thing in particular that i wanted to do, and straight away i said i wanted to go to the Elephant farm.
This is basically a once on a lifetime experience, where you literally babysit an elephant for a day!
I'm also wanted to go to the famous "full moon party" and there's also a 3 day waterfight whilst we're there which is a ritual in Thailand which they use to wash away your sins.

What have you bloggers been up to recently?
